Well, what´s to say about our new DIVINE SL? It is simply the lightest production dropper post in the world with a total length of 400mm and 80mm infinite drop.
Tailored to the needs of XC and marathon racers, the DIVINE SL is the youngest offspring of our dropper family. Based on the award-winning and patented REVIVE technology, we´ve modified the internals to work perfectly with the shorter travel.
Of course, you can mount and use your DIVINE SL also on bikes outside the XC department. However, the DIVINE SL was specifically designed in respect of XC riders' requirements.
One of the features, is the "Tech-Climb" feature. While our DIVINE SL is completely locked in place in the top-out and bottom-out position for consistent riding position, the post can slightly spring in the middle positions. We´ve found out, that extremely steep and technical (e.g. rooty or rocky) uphill sections can be conquered with much more ease, when the saddle is just slightly dropped (lets say about 1-2cm). Having the saddle dropped just a bit (and not completely), the "Tech-Climb" feature" also adds some suspension to the post, flitering the impacts of roots and rocks. Back fully extended or fully dropped, the post is rigid again.
Titanium saddle bolts, carbon and oval rail compatible forged clamping plates, tapered tubes. All of this comes stock on the DIVINE SL to achieve a sensational low weight of 395g (30.9/400mm).
Another unique feature of our DIVINE SL:
You can easily cut it to a short as 283mm, if you can spare the extra length with your frame and saddle height. The cut weight can go to a minimum of 345g!
The shorter travel allows the DIVINE SL to come with a design, that doesn´t require manual resets like the REVIVE.
Of course, our DIVINE SL requires internal routing of the cable through your frame.
1 set DIVINE dropper post includes:
1x DIVINE SL Seatpost
1x cable housing 1500mm
1x Inner wire 1700mm
2x housing Endcap
1x remote (optional)
1x BikeYoke I-spec adapter or Splits-clamp (optional)
Generally, one of our Triggy remotes should be first choice.
Only, if you already have a shifter or another remote on your handlebar left side you may need to go with our 2-by Remote remote, which can be mounted left or right side and is a "push-down" style remote.
For Triggy there are a couple of variants to choose from:
Triggy - the classic one
Triggy X - slightly longer than Triggy and with adjustable paddle length
Triggy Alpha - our top-end remote with ball bearing and angle adjustment - available ins two paddle lengths short and long
Triggy and Triggy Alpha short give a more crisp and direct lever feel, which we prefer for the REVIVE series. Triggy X and Triggy Alpha long provide a softer lever feel.
Only for posts of the DIVINE family (which have higher operating pressures) we recommend the longer Triggy X or Triggy Alpha long - the choice is yours though. All our remotes will work with all of our posts.
You can find a table of recommendation below.
Triggys are alway mounted left side under the handlebar, similar to your derailleur shifter on the right side.
You can mount them via our BikeYoke Splits clamp on the handlebar or you can bolt them directly to your brake lever with a small adapter to save the extra clamp and keep your cockpit clean.
An overview of compatible brakes and adapters can be found below.
For Shimano brakes we offer our own BikeYoke I-Spec adapters and for other brands you will find adapters from your brake manufacturer directly.
Just as every high-performance bicycle component, your BikeYoke dropper requires regular and periodic maintenance. It is important to follow our maintenance and service intervals, to ensure proper function throughout the lifetime of your BikeYoke dropper.

Is DIVINE SL only for XC use?
You can mount and use your DIVINE SL also on bikes outside the XC department. However, the DIVINE SL was specifically designed in respect of XC riders' requirements.

Back fully extended or fully dropped, the post is rigid again.
Is there a weight limit on the DIVINE SL dropper post?
Our DIVINE has a maximum rider weight limit (fully equipped) of 115kg.
Can I use other remotes than BikeYoke?
All our posts work with any other dropper remote as long as it allows clamping the wire on the remote end.
To provide full return speed and smooth drop feel, your remote should have a least 10mm of cable pull for REVIVE, REVIVE MAX and DIVINE and at least 5mm of cable pull for DIVINE SL and Rascal.
Can I mount saddles with carbon rails and/or high-oval rails to my post?
Yes, go ahead! Our dropper posts are compatible with standard and oval rails made from carbon or alloys.
Can I lift my bike on the saddle, or will anything inside the post get damaged, when I pull on the saddle?
Other posts may suffer damage by doing so. Your DIVINE dropper will be OK because it will automatically reset the hydraulic circuit when in use. However, you should avoid intentionally pulling out the telescopic upper part with too much force.
Lifting the bike by the saddle is usually no problem, though.
Will you have spare parts for DIVINE SL?
We will have all important spare parts available in our online shop and at our distributors for reasonable pricing. This includes bushings, seal kits, pins, bolts, saddle clamps, ... All those parts will be available for you, in case you need them. If you need a spare part, that we do not have in the webshop, please contact us by email, and we will get you sorted.
My post slightly compresses, when I am pushing on it.
Every hydraulically locked post - no matter which brand it is from - can allow a little bit of firm movement, when you sit or push on it.
This movement can be up to 1-2mm and is absolutely normal and you won´t be able to feel it during riding.
My remote does not return, after pushing it
This is most likely due to one of the following reasons:
The linkage at the bottom of the post is dirty or not properly greased/lubricated. Over some time, bikes can collect dirt and mud inside the frame from washing or riding in the dirt. This mud can get to the leverage mechanism, when having the bike upside down (for example after washing). Cleaning and re-greasing the mechanism should solve this. If you ofter washyour bike, using a lot of water, it is recommended to remove the seatpost after washing, so you can get rid of excessive water and mud through the open seattube. Not only will your post benefit from this, but also your frame bearings and your bottom bracket bearings. Always give your bike some time to thoroughly dry after washing.
The air pressure is not correct. The usual operating air pressure of the post is around 300psi. Less pressure inside the air chamber, does not only mean slower return speed, but also less return pressure for the push rod, that retracts the leverage unit. Rest the post and fully extend it. Then wait a few minutes, before you pump the post to 300psi - as described in your manual always in upright position and using a shock pump with a double-step valve, to avoid air loss when detaching the pump. In rare cases the valve core (valve insert) might have gotten a little bit loose after the first couple of rides rides, resulting in very subtle air loss over weeks or months. Use a valve key to torque the schrader valve core to the correct 0,5Nm for proper sealing function.
My post returns very slow, especially right before top-out, although pressure is set correctly
Check your seat collar. Some seat collar squeeze the seattube very unevenly, which can result in uneven deformation of the seattube and seatpost. Use the torque on your seat collar as low as possible, just so that your post does not slip inside the seattube, but in any case do not tighten with more than 5Nm.
My post feels a little sticky. Does it need to go for a full service?
Your post does not neccessarily need a service because of this. Most likely, it is just the small foam ring at the bottom of the seatpost inside the lower tube. This foam ring is a dirt and dust protection, that covers small holes in the bottom of the post. Those holes allow the post to breath during dropping and extending. If the foam is soaked with oil/water/grease, it may clog the holes and make the post feel sticky during extending and harder to compress, because air cannot get in and out fast enough.
That being said, too much greaseing during a service (and assembly) is not always the best thing to do.
I have been using the Divine SL for 2 seasons and it has worked perfectly throughout that time. I really appreciate the light weight and low servicing requirements. Probably needs a service now though.
